30 ml or 100 ml? Choose the Bottle You Will Use
Price per milliliter is only part of the decision. Start with how often you will reach for the fragrance.

The larger bottle often looks like the better deal. That can be true per milliliter and still be the wrong purchase for your routine. If a fragrance will come out twice a month, you may value a smaller commitment more than a lower unit price.
Start with how you use perfume now, rather than the version of yourself who wears a different scent every morning.
Put the prices on the same basis
Divide the price by the volume. For an invented example, a 30 ml bottle at $60 costs $2 per ml. A 100 ml bottle at $120 costs $1.20 per ml. The larger one has a lower unit price, but it also asks you to spend twice as much today.
That calculation says nothing about how much you will enjoy the remaining liquid. It is useful arithmetic, not a reason to buy more than you want.
Think in wear days, not promised spray counts
Exact sprays per bottle vary with the atomizer and how it is used. Rather than relying on a universal estimate, ask how many days each week you would choose this fragrance. Is it replacing an everyday bottle, joining a rotation, or serving one occasional purpose?
If you have not finished the sample, that is a reason to pause. It may mean the scent needs more time, or simply that you like another one better.
Travel size has a different kind of value
A small format can make sense for an unfamiliar fragrance or a scent you wear infrequently. It is easier to commit to, even when the cost per milliliter is higher.
Check whether the small bottle has the application format you want. A dabber and a spray are not the same experience. If portability matters, look at the actual dimensions and closure rather than the word “travel” alone.
Buy the larger size when the habit already exists
A larger bottle is easier to justify when you have worn the fragrance repeatedly, know the version you want, and have somewhere suitable to store it. Compare the exact concentration and product name before treating two offers as equivalent.
The best value is not the bottle with the smallest number on the calculator. It is the one that fits your budget and becomes part of your real routine.
